American Patent Law Roundtable

December 7, 2023

Hosted by the Technology, Innovation, and Intellectual Property program of the Classical Liberal Institute at the NYU School of Law (CLI-TIIP). It is organized by Adam Mossoff (George Mason) and Bowman Heiden (UC-Berkeley) with assistance by Richard Epstein (NYU).

Rob’s monograph is a sweeping account of the evolution of the U.S. patent system and how innovators and businesspersons used patents over the past two hundred years as a platform for distributing new technologies int the marketplace through a myriad of private law doctrines and commercial institutions. They are delighted to gather a group of scholars, lawyers, and representatives from the innovation industries to discuss his book.
